Proyecto De Cuba
For the Cuba project, we could either create a poster for Che Guevara or find a Cuban recipe, which we would then translate into Spanish, and make it. I chose to do the food for my project. The Cuban recipe that I chose to make was flan. I am not a very good cook so the first time I made it, it looked like a deformed freaky omelet. The second time I made the flan it still looked like an omelet but it was a bit better. Both times the flan tasted fine, but the presentation was sub-par. As for the writing part of the project, it was incredibly hard. There were so many cooking terms that I didn't know. It was very hard to translate and I was using word-reference for almost every word. The writing part was a very big challenge for me.
This was a good project for me because I was able to learn a few things. The writing part of this project helped me practice using commands as well as allowing me to work on using verbs. The writing part also allowed me to learn words like stir, boil, pour, yoke, mix, and many others. The cooking part of the project made me practice my cooking abilities. I also learned how to make flan because of this project.

Las Romblas
For this project we picked a famous person who came from a spanish speaking country. I chose Julio Cezar Chaves who was a professional boxer from Sonora, Mexico. This was a month long project where we only researched our person. From what we learned, we created a presentation about their life. The point of the presentation was to teach us to effectively use the past tense. For our exhibition, we impersonated the person we chose, and gave our presentation to the public.
This project was good for me because I struggle with conjugating. Having a month to work on only using the past tense, was really helpful for me. I learned a lot about using the past tense, and I improved with conjugating. I loved the exhibition because it was fun to dress up as a boxer. It was one of the most interesting exhibitions I have attended. I enjoyed seeing all the kids dress up and their people, it made the project much more engaging and interesting.

Cuento de tu Niñez
For this project we wrote a story about something that happened in our past. The purpose of this project was to help us practice writing and speaking in the past tense. I chose to write about the time I went to China for this project. It is important to know past tense because when you are traveling it might be necessary to explain something that happened in the past, especially with medical situations.
Un Dia Proyecto
For this project we chose a partner and wrote a story. The goal for this story was to use reflexive verbs in our writing. We each had to write at least 15 lines, each containing at least one reflexive verb. Reflexive verbs are hard for non spanish speakers because they don't exist in English. Along with writing the stories, we also had to contain a visual and oral part of the project. My partner and I chose to write about our dogs being super heroes.
Porque Español
Estudio Español porque quiero viajar a muchos de país, para comer comida en México, y por ser educado.
I study a different langue because I want to be able to travel around the world and have a general idea of what people are talking about. I also want to learn another language because it is an asset when applying for a job. Another reason I want to learn another language is because it is really cool when you can speak two languages, and when you come across another person who speaks the same language, its like you have your own secret code that no one can understand.
